Veggie D’Light is proud to launch a fresh new catering company in Toronto.  We would like to take some time to provide you with more insight into who we are, and what we are about.

Veggie D’Light’s international chef was introduced to the culinary arts while studying at West Indies College in Mandeville Jamaica, in the late 1980’s.  As Peter began to travel throughout numerous countries and cities in the West Indies and North America working alongside various established chefs, he couldn’t help but notice a lack of options in the food industry for people like himself, who embrace a vegetarian lifestyle.  As a response to this need, Peter began diligently working on a plan to develop numerous vegetarian and vegan recipes that incorporate just the right blend of seasoning needed to keep each dish fun, exciting and delicious for all ages.  Now that Peter has perfected an insurmountable number of dishes, he wants to share them all with you.  Made with care and precision, we are confident that you will be left feeling nourished and energetic, bringing the vital element of a well balanced diet to contribute to a healthier you!


~Natasha Brien~

Natasha BrienAs the marketing and creative director of Veggie D’Light, she has held a keen interest in entrepreneurship for over ten years.  Natasha holds numerous diplomas from accredited colleges ranging from counseling and aesthetics to being a Reiki Master and is currently completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree from York University.  As a vegetarian and philanthropist, Natasha is committed to a holistic, grass roots approach to business.  It is crucial in such a fast paced society, to take time out to rejuvenate and replenish the body, mind and spirit. Veggie D’Light incorporates Natasha’s various niches into one, in a way that ensures a positive, enjoyable experience of delivering delicious meals to you and your loved ones, ultimately contributing to the regeneration of positive energy necessary to carry out and enjoy your daily tasks.

 

In addition, we would like to note that we are certified in WHIMIS and the Toronto Public Health’s Food Handler Program.  Cleanliness and a sterile environment when preparing and packaging your meals are a top priority!  All food is prepared and packaged in a government licensed kitchen.  We strongly believe in protecting and preserving the environment and going GREEN in all aspects.  For your health and convenience, the meals are refrigerated or frozen depending upon your personal preference and are kept chilled upon delivery with thermal bags and ice packs that are picked up, sanitized and reused weekly.  Veggie D’Light uses organic ingredients and support local farmers.
